Cal Robertson

Cal Robertson, Laurens Academy’s versatile standout, is this week’s Player of the Week as selected by the Laurens County Touchdown Club.

The TD Club honored Robertson for his outstanding play in the Crusaders’ 42-12 loss to Cathedral Academy of North Charleston.

Robertson, a senior linebacker-wide receiverwho also excels on special teams, caught 10 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. He was an All-County selection for Laurens Academy in 2020 season.

Defensively, Robertson was strong, as well, making 7 tackles. Robertson was relentless in the contest pressuring the Cathedral Academy quarterback.
