Clinton High’s cross country and competitive cheer teams are combining forces to sponsor the CHS Turkey Trot 5K and 1-mile fun run on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 8 a.m.

The 5K will start at 8on the school’s cross country course; the fun run will start at 9:30. Social distancin will be required, and participants must wear masks except during the runs. Walkers are also encouraged to register and participate.

All proceeds will be split between the two teams, which are also promoting health and fitness in the community.

Chapman defeated the Red Devil volleyball team in straight sets – 25-9, 25-17, 25-21 – to even the Clinton record at 1-1 both overall and in Region 3-3A play.

The junior varsity team won the opening game but the Panthers won the next two. The scores were 18-25, 25-16, 25-10.
