With a football season like no other ahead, District 56 has made necessary changes in its ticket-purchasing procedures.
Beginning on Sept. 25, the Red Devils are scheduled to play seven games, five of them at its home field, Wilder Stadium. Season tickets for those five home games will be sold this Thursday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3-6 p.m.; and Friday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m.-noon. Each season ticket costs $50, including a parking pass.
Season tickets will no longer be available after Friday.
Buyers must buy either by check or by providing the correct amount in cash. No change will be provided or available.
Possession of a season ticket guarantees entry into the stadium for home varsity football games.
Those wishing to purchase season tickets may do so in a drive-through manner at the front of the main gym at Clinton High School. Social distancing will be strongly encouraged, and as such, CHS Athletics will be unable to honor specific seat assignments in the stadium.
District 56 is moving to cashless tickets for tickets at the middle and high schools. Individual tickets must be purchased online at the www.chsathletics.com website using a debit or credit card. More information about cashless purchases will be provided as it becomes available.
Parents of players and Booster Club members will have first priority. A Booster Club membership form is also available at the athletics website.
Individuals without internet/computer access will be provided with a day each week to purchase tickets in-person in a drive-through manner.
Anyone over the age of six will require a ticket for entry. Due to capacity restrictions, once the capacity is reached, no one will be granted entry.
No senior-citizen, all-season, teacher-ID, or district and out-of-district passes will be honored.
