Zermarion Livingston scored twice, leading the undefeated Clinton junior varsity football team to a 28-0 victory over Union County on Wednesday evening at Wilder Stadium.

The game was moved up a day due to the weather forecast of possible effects of the remnants of Hurricane Zeta.

Clinton (5-0) won every game in Region 3A and scored all four of its touchdowns in the first half.

Livingston opened the scoring with a 35-yard run by Livingston and Wil Stewart’s 2-point conversion.

A fumble recovery set up Livingston’s second score, a 43-yard run. Jamarious Jackson ran for the conversion. T.J. Sullivan scored the third score on a 1-yard run, and Stewart connected with Zay Johnson on a 13-yard touchdown pass. The conversions failed on the latter two scores.

With the game well in hand, Clinton’s defense kept the Yellow Jackets at bay throughout the second half, with its defense throttling Union County on every possession.
