Presbyterian College is beginning its sports seasons shortly, but the COVID-19 crisis is a limiting factor.
PC has announced that its men's and women's basketball home games will not have fans through at least Dec. 31, 2020, due to the novel coronavirus A decision regarding home games in January and February will be made at a later date.
A difficult decision was made given the current conditions relative to the ongoing pandemic. After evaluating several scenarios, PC reached the conclusion that it would be unable to accommodate any fans in Templeton Center until after Dec. 31.
This will include the home women's series against Gardner-Webb Dec. 16-17. Men's games that are affected are home contests against Wofford Dec. 6, South Carolina State Dec. 18, and the Radford series Dec. 30-31.

Quinton Ferrell has announced the signing of James Lovorn III (Anderson) to join the men’s basketball team next season.
"James (Lovorn) is a point guard who is highly skilled," said Ferrell. “He possesses a great basketball IQ and can make shots from anywhere on the court. Along with his shooting ability, James is a tremendous ball handler and passer. I love the grit and competitive edge James exudes on the court. He will be a tremendous addition to PC both academically and athletically, and I look forward to coaching James and having him and his entire family be a part of our program here at PC."
As a junior, Lovorn averaged 19.7 points. 4 assists and four rebounds at T.L. Hanna High School.
