Presbyterian College’s recruiting class is rather geographically divided in women’s basketball.

Head coach Alaura Sharp has signed guards Sabrina Belquist and Nyah Willis, the former from Los Gatos, Calif., and the latter from San Diego in the same state.

The first three signees -- center Aaliyah Austin and guards Kelsey Brown and Maleia Bracone – were all Southerners, with Austin coming to PC from Satsuma, Ala., Brown from Simpsonville and Bracone from Anderson.

"Our staff worked really hard to complete our 2020 recruiting class," said Sharp. "We believe every player is a quality person, high-caliber student-athlete and great addition to our program. We laid the foundation for a successful season and expect to lean on our newcomers to make an impact. We cannot wait to get the team back on campus."

Belquist was Los Gatos High School’s top senior and averaged 17 points, 1.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds as a senior.

Willis is from Valley Christian High School by way of Chabot College, where she averaged 13.6 pointes and 7.1 rebounds.
