As is the case with their male counterparts, Presbyterian College’s women’s golf team is holding an official tournament of and among their own, and sophomore Kelli Kragh and senior Serina Combs claimed the top two seeds for the Blue Hose Match Play.

The duo each carded an 82 over 18 holes at Lakeside Country Club to earn byes in the first round of the double-elimination tournament, which begins on Friday, Oct. 2, at Musgrove Mill Golf Club.

All tournament matches are scheduled for nine holes. Kragh is slated to face the winner of Hinds/Martin, while Combs will meet the winner of Gardner/Marchman. The losers of the first round matches fall into the consolation bracket. The championship match is slated for the week of Nov. 2.
